11:30am - 12:30pm.
Following her Oath of Office, there will be a reception from
1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Fairbanks Superior Court Judge Niesje Steinkruger is to give the oath of office to Palin and Lt. Gov.-elect Sean Parnell.

North Pole Winter Festival

· A holiday bazaar will take place Dec. 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in North Pole Plaza Mall followed by a fireworks display at 5 p.m.


The candle-lighting ceremony will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Oehring Auditorium at North Pole High School. North Pole’s new king and queen will be crowned during the event.
