Reminder, the UAF Museum of the North is open before and after fireworks (7-9) for warming up and hot chocolate. The exhibits are open and it's FREE!

4th Annual Ski Your Age in Kilometers


Saturday, December 29th


Registration table opens at 10am, but you can check in and out at anytime during the day.


Birch Hill Cross Country Ski Center



You can choose to ski your age, or select any distance appropriate for your age and fitness level. The organizers have developed a table with bronze, silver, gold and platinum achievement levels for each age. The goal of the event is to get as many people out to ski as many kilometers as possible.


Bring some food to share if you'd like, to help feed those that might need nourishment during their attempt at sking their age.
