Pick up a reading journal to keep track of eight books of your child's own choosing. (Library books, your own... basically what they're saying is, it doesn't have to be a Barnes & Noble book)
The journals are available now at Barnes & Noble information desk.
Turn in a completed journal to receive a coupon for a FREE BOOK!!
The theme is from the Lemony Snicket book series - A Series of Unfortunate Events.
The thirteenth and last book in the series is coming out October 13, 2006, and completed journals will be put into a drawing for an autographed copy of the final book!!!
Limit of two journals per child.
Sounds like fun.

The Barnes and Noble salesperson I spoke with said that the books you, or your child read can also be the same books that you, or your child are reading for the Library Reading Program. Thus, participating in two reading programs for the summer...with the
same books. Of course, not to suggest to read less books! Just less remembering which books you read and to write down the titles.
